"In golf, you can never think too far ahead --- not even to the next hole.
It is very important to work on the shot you are on, not "I can birdie the 15th hole" when you are still trying to par the 5th!
Patty Berg told me once, "Never think behind you or too far in front. Never think of the bad hole that you just had; just concentrate on the hole you are playing."
